I ordered a few bottles from sterlingvineyards.com, and when the box arrived, it looked rougher than I expected. One corner was badly crushed, and the cardboard had that soft, dented feel like it had been tossed around a bit.
Thankfully, none of the bottles were broken, but I was definitely nervous cutting it open and checking each one. The padding inside just didn’t seem sturdy enough for glass wine bottles, so I’d probably hesitate to order again unless the packaging improves.

"Still waiting, and the shipping is testing my patience"
I ordered this a while ago and, i’m still waiting for it to show up. I keep checking the tracking, then forgetting about it, then remembering again and getting annoyed all over. Maybe the product will be great once it finally arrives, but right now the shipping is taking way too long.

"Well, the box arrived... just not with the right bottles"
I waited all week for my order, so I guess it was impressive that a package showed up at all, just with the wrong bottles inside. I reached out to support and they mostly kept asking me for more photos instead of actually fixing it. Still not sorted, which is frustrating.

"The gondola ride was really nice and..."
The gondola ride was really nice and fun. The views on the way up were amazing, and from the calm, easygoing vibe of the staff, I assumed it was going to be a smooth ride, and it was. Definitely worth doing if you’re there.

"Nice spot, but a bit overpriced"
The place itself is nice and the wine was fine, but for the price, I expected a little more. The tasting pours felt small and none of the wines really stood out to me. It might be worth going for the view or the atmosphere, but in terms of value, I didn’t feel like it quite delivered. I left feeling like I’d mostly paid for the name rather than the experience.
"Checkout froze and wiped my cart"
I tried to pay twice, and both times the checkout just froze on me. Then my cart emptied afterward, which was really frustrating because I had to find everything again. Weirdly, I remember the loading spinner was still moving the whole time, so it looked like it was doing something, but nothing ever happened

"Good wine, but I felt a bit ignored"
I’ve generally liked Sterling Vineyards, and the wines I’ve gotten through the club have been solid for the price. Signing up was simple enough, and I do appreciate that they give you a few options for changing shipments.
That said, when I needed to pause or adjust something closer to the shipment date, it felt way more difficult than it should have. I had to hunt around for answers, and it kind of felt like I was being ignored rather than helped. It’s not a bad wine club, but I wish it were easier to manage and a little more responsive.

Support did end up fixing the problem, so I’ll give them credit for that. But it took longer than I expected. Just a heads-up for anyone else, if you need something resolved quickly, you might want to be ready for a bit of a wait.

"Wine club was just too much hassle"
I joined the wine club i kind of regretted it quickly. The shipments were confusing, like really confusing at times, and trying to cancel took way more back and forth than it should have. Emails were slow, slow enough that it just added to the frustration. For me, it wasn’t worth the stress

"Booking was fine, just a little awkward"
I booked a tasting through the site and it did work, though I’m sure it took me a few tries to actually land on the time I wanted. A couple of the pages felt a bit slow to load too, at least for me. The confirmation email came through without any issue, so that part was easy enough. Overall, I’d say it was okay, just not quite as smooth as it could be

I’m still waiting on my refund, and the whole return process has been frustrating. To be fair, they did respond when I reached out, so I’ll give them that, but it hasn’t exactly made me feel confident. It’s just been way messier and slower than I expected.

I asked a couple of simple questions about the wine, and, the staff didn’t really seem to know much. They kind of guessed, shrugged, and didn’t offer much help, so yeah, it was a bit disappointing.

"Nice, nice little tasting room stop"
I had a really good time at the tasting room. The staff was friendly, friendly in a way that didn’t feel forced, and they let us take our time without rushing us at all. The wines were nice too, and we found a couple we really enjoyed. It was a bit busy, busy enough that it didn’t feel super relaxed the whole time, but it was still worth the visit.

I had a good time on this tour overall. The guide really knew their stuff, and the views were awesome. My only thing is that it felt a bit rushed at times, but it was still a really nice experience.

"Kind of frustrating to use on my phone"
I tried looking up some wines and booking a visit, but... yeah, the site was really slow and kept jumping around on me. The menus felt messy on mobile, and the pages took forever to load. I gave it a few minutes, but i just gave up. Annoying

I like browsing the wines on this site, and I did end up finding a bottle that worked for me. But a few of the ones I specifically wanted were either out of stock or couldn’t be shipped to my area, which was a little frustrating. I kept noticing tiny things like the button still showing up until I clicked through, then finding out it wasn’t actually available. Not a huge deal, but I wish the availability details were a bit more obvious upfront.

"good prices when there’s a deal"
i ordered from sterlingvineyards.com when they had a promo going, and the prices were solid. the extra discount made it feel like a much better deal than grabbing a bottle at a local shop. checkout was simple too, and the code went through without any hassle. i’ll probably keep an eye out for sales before ordering again, but overall i was really happy with the value.
